Emergent Universe
Two local laws evolve four fields across a grid.
Two recorded continuations · original physics law
Two archived laws / one shared clock
Watch the fields change.
These are recorded continuations from two saved states. Both use the original local physics. The three views color the same underlying numbers in different ways.
Ready · 15 seconds of recorded continuation, 2,872 simulation steps per universe. Each video replays its own archived rule at 128² resolution.
Visual contrast is fixed from each recording's first frame. Neither rule passed the stricter replication check.
Reading the fields
State
Each of the 128 × 128 cells has three primitive channels and energy. Every cell follows the same local update rule.
Views
A / B / C colors the primitive channels. Energy maps the energy field. Local variation highlights nearby differences.
Outcome
The first rule carries structure across the grid; the second holds transient domains. Neither archived rule passed the stricter replication check.
Each grid cell contains three matter-like values and energy. A learned local update rule changes each cell using its neighborhood. The search examined 17,280 candidate laws.
The two recordings continue archived states with their original rules. U-3D83F8 develops propagating structure; U-FAF802 forms localized transient domains. Watch how the patterns change across the same number of steps.
