Plastic Signal Garden
A recurrent agent adapts as the rewarded cue changes.

Recorded artifactSignal Garden puts an adaptation task in a two-dimensional arena. The rewarded beacon changes, so the agent has to use recurrent state, plastic weights, and memory slots rather than a fixed cue.
The saved training plot shows episode reward, the size of the fast weight update, and output firing over environment steps. The repeated rises and resets in the lower traces mark the changing task schedule.

Top
Episode reward changes as the rewarded cue and training schedule change.
Middle
Plastic norm measures the size of fast weight updates. The regular sawtooth pattern reflects reset cycles.
Bottom
Firing shows aggregate agent activity during training. The figure is a measurement from one saved run.
